SaaS & MVP development

SaaS MVP development that gets you to real users

Neptunes Tech builds MVPs that are small enough to launch and solid enough to keep. We cut your idea down to the one workflow that proves it, ship it with real accounts, real data and real payments, and put it in front of users in weeks. What we hand over is production code with the billing, multi-tenancy and infrastructure already in place — so the version that finds product-market fit is the version you keep building on, not one you throw away.

  • MVPs from $1,000
  • Launch in ~2–6 weeks
  • Code and infrastructure are yours
What we build

What we build for founders

From the first testable version to a multi-tenant product with paying customers.

Validation MVPs

The smallest real product that answers your riskiest question. One core workflow, real data, up to five screens — built to be shown to users, not to investors only.

Multi-tenant SaaS platforms

Workspaces, team invites, roles and permissions, with each customer’s data properly isolated from day one rather than retrofitted later.

Subscriptions & billing

Stripe checkout, plans and trials, upgrades and downgrades, proration, failed-payment handling and a customer billing portal.

Onboarding & activation

Sign-up, email verification, an onboarding flow that gets a new user to the value fast, and the events to measure whether it worked.

Admin & analytics

An internal admin panel to support customers, plus product analytics so you can see activation, retention and where users drop out.

AI features that earn their place

Assistants, smart search, generation or classification built into the product where they change the user’s outcome — not bolted on as a badge.

Use cases

What this looks like in practice

The shapes of MVP we scope most often. Yours will differ in the details — the sequencing usually does not.

The spreadsheet that outgrew itself

A process runs on a shared spreadsheet that three people fight over. We turn it into a real app with accounts, permissions and an audit trail, keeping the workflow people already know so adoption is not a second project.

The service turned product

You deliver something manually for clients and want to sell it as software. We build the self-serve version of your one highest-value workflow, put billing on it, and leave the rest manual until the numbers justify automating it.

The internal tool with a market

Something you built for yourself would sell to your peers. We add multi-tenancy, isolate the data properly, and put a sign-up and subscription in front of it.

The pre-seed proof point

You need working software in front of design partners before a raise. We ship the demonstrable core in weeks, instrumented so you can show real usage rather than a prototype.

Deliverables

What you get

Every saas & mvp development project includes the following, and the quote says so before you commit.

  • A scoped definition of version one, with what we are deliberately leaving out
  • A working product deployed on your own cloud account and domain
  • Authentication, accounts, roles and (for SaaS) tenant isolation
  • Stripe subscriptions with plans, trials and a customer billing portal
  • An admin panel for supporting your own customers
  • Product analytics and event tracking for activation and retention
  • CI/CD, staging and production environments, backups and monitoring
  • The repository, the infrastructure and the accounts — all in your name
Why Neptunes Tech

Why build your MVP with Neptunes Tech

Most MVPs fail twice: once by taking six months, and once by being unmaintainable when they work. We optimise against both.

  • We cut scope hard for version one and tell you what we removed and why
  • Production-grade from the start — no rewrite the moment you get traction
  • You own the code, the cloud accounts and the domains from day one
  • A staging link after every milestone, so you see progress weekly rather than at the end

How we work

Our saas & mvp development process

01

Find the riskiest question

We work out what has to be true for this to work, and design version one to test exactly that — then cut everything that does not.

02

Design the core flow

Wireframes and a clickable prototype of the one workflow that matters, validated before any code is written.

03

Build & ship

Weekly sprints with a live staging link, real data and real payments wired in from early on.

04

Launch & learn

Production launch with analytics, then a prioritised backlog built from what users actually do rather than what we assumed.

FAQ

SaaS & MVP Development FAQs

How much does it cost to build a SaaS MVP?

A validation MVP with one core workflow starts from $1,000. A custom product with a backend, admin dashboard and integrations starts from $4,000, and a full multi-tenant SaaS platform with subscriptions and DevOps starts from $9,000. You get a fixed quote after a free scoping call.

How long does an MVP take to build?

A focused validation MVP is typically about 2 weeks, and a custom product with a backend and admin side about 4–6 weeks. Full SaaS platforms are delivered in milestones so you can launch the core early and add the rest while real users are already on it.

What should be in an MVP and what should be left out?

In: the one workflow that proves people want this, plus whatever is needed to use it for real — accounts, data and payment if you are charging. Out: settings pages, extra roles, integrations nobody has asked for, and anything you cannot point at a user for. We make that call explicitly with you during scoping.

Do I own the code and the infrastructure?

Yes, entirely. We build in your repository and deploy to cloud accounts in your name, so you are never locked in. If you bring in your own developers later, they inherit a documented codebase and working CI/CD rather than a black box.

Can you take over an MVP someone else built?

Usually, yes. We start with a review of the code, data model and infrastructure, tell you honestly what is worth keeping, fix the urgent issues first, then plan improvements or a staged rebuild around what your users need next.

Will the MVP survive if it succeeds?

That is the point of building it production-grade. Version one already has authentication, a sensible data model, automated deployment, backups and monitoring, so growth means adding features and capacity — not stopping to rewrite the foundation.
